Joanne C. Donato (nee Salera), formerly of Bellmawr, and Fairview section of Camden. Age 79.
Born December 30, 1942 to the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (nee Angelucci) Salera. Beloved wife of the late Carl A. Donato, Sr. Devoted mother of Carl A. Donato, Jr. (Wendy), Debra Donato Casey (Steve), Karen Donato-Krowick (Larry), and Nicole Cardona (Jeffrey). Loving grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 4. Dear sister of Aggie Nagy, David Salera, and Ken Salera.
Joanne was a kind, loving, and giving person. She ALWAYS had a smile and was able to make other smile, even in their darkest moments. She loved life, her family, New Jersey beaches, visiting the casinos, and music to the point that she would sing at every family function to the delight of all who attended. Joanne's professional life was highlighted by a 32-year run at Wawa as a store manager, mostly in the Fairview section of Camden.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation from 9am to 11am Friday, January 28, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Memorial service 11am at the funeral home.
Interment is private at the request of the family.
