I am very sorry to hear this news. I moved away from the Oaklyn/Collingswood area after high school and subsequently lost contact with most of the fellow students I knew in junior and senior high school which is when I lived in Oaklyn and attended Oaklyn Junior High and Collingswood Senior High. I knew Bob in Oaklyn. He was one of the first people I met after I moved there in 1965. He was a very nice guy. I became a transplant to the area from Levittown PA in 9th grade. My birth mother passed when I was 12 in 1963. My father subsequently married my stepmom in 1965 and she had lived in Oaklyn since her childhood. My sister, Diana and I moved to her house on Newton Ave. I had three stepbrothers and they had grown up knowing and playing with Bob throughout their childhoods. Bob helped me, as a new gal to the area, to feel welcomed to my new home town. Knowing the nice guy he was back then, I know he will surely be missed by everyone who knew him throughout his life, especially his family. I send my prayers to accompany his journey home and am grateful I knew him for a short period that long ago.

CandleBob was the best husband and father that I could possibly hope for. He was a proud and loving Pop-Pop and our grandsons were the absolute joy in his life. My heart is shattered and his absence is overwhelming.
I will forever miss you, Bob. ❤

I will always remember Bob as one of the very few people who could put Alisa to sleep as a baby. He was good with kids. I will miss his smile and sense of humor. Love you Bob.

CandleBob will be sorely missed in our family. I will always remember his kindness, love of family, fondness for story-telling and great wit. He was always there for me at a moments notice and was the big brother I never had. I still remember him teaching me how to play chess when I was young. He left us too soon. I regret not having the chance to say a proper goodbye. Rest easy, Bob. Love and sympathy to Janice, Jim, Jen and family.

Bob and I grew up together in Oaklyn. We rode bikes, played football and I have good memories of Bob. So sorry to hear he's gone.

CandleJanice & Family, Words can't express the sorrow we feel for your loss of Bob. He was a great person! I remember how he would like to trick me when you & I were working together, he called me & pretended that he was from the IRS. He was so convincing, & I went right along believing who he was. Boy! that was a surprise when I found out it was Bob! Although that was many years ago, it stuck out how clever he was. Louie & I have a lot of memories from times spent with both of you through the years. Bob will be missed by all. May he rest in Peace!!!!
