Richard J. Johnson, on December 6, 2021, formerly of Bellmawr. Age 79.
Beloved husband of Maria Speeney Johnson. Devoted father of Richard A. Johnson (Patti), Michael Verna Jr. (Kate), and Gregory Verna (Ashley). Loving Pop Pop of Isabella, Julian, Keegan, Valentino, Martina, and Luca. Dear brother of Carlene Dott (Rich), Etta Keebler, and Linda Giuliano (Sal). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Richard proudly served with the US Army as a Private First Class during the Vietnam Era. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post #72 Brooklawn and the VFW.
There will be a viewing from 9:30am to 11:00am Monday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 11am at the funeral home.
Entombment Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.

RJ was always such a generous and kind neighbor. He was ready and willing to help anyone, at anytime, and in anyway that he could. It was so easy to see that he and his family members all shared such a deep love of one another. We know that he will be deeply missed and we send our sympathy, love and prayers to Maria, and to his children and grandchildren.
Rich was always ready with a joke (no matter how bad it was) and a smile. He was so good to me and Sofie and we will miss him dearly. To all of his family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time and we love you all
