Dolores "Del" Giangola, 94, wife of the late Nicholas "Nick" Giangola, passed away Saturday, November 20th at the home of her daughter Vanessa Leone and her husband, Sam, in Mickleton, NJ.

Born July 22, 1927 in Runnemede, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Serafin and Julia Pucalowski. Mrs. Giangola resided in Runnemede most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother to her three children.

Del was known for her generosity, energy, and uninhibited personality. An avid storyteller, Del loved to entertain with tales from the past - especially those regarding her beloved "wall gang". Dolores always enjoyed going to yard sales, dollar stores, spending time with her family, and could always be seen waving at the camera in photos.

Dolores devoted the majority of her life to lovingly care for her son Gary who passed at age 49. She was also predeceased by her twin brother Leonard and siblings Evelyn, Walt, Richard, and Florence. In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, she is survived by son Robert "Bob" Boyer and his wife Maria as well as 5 grandchildren--Tina, Trisha, and Sam Jr. as well as Angela and Nichole. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit on Friday, November 26th from 9:30 to 10:30am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

Interment will follow in Resurrection of Christ Catholic Cemetery, Bell Road and Anderson Ave, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

Dolores adored her great-grandchildren and we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) using their website www.jdrf.org to benefit her great-grandson, Liam, who was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

Aunt Del was a second mother to me and so many others. She would always find ways to make us laugh. She had the ability to stop summer time traffic on the Black Horse Pike by dressing up as a clown. She also taught us the meaning of dedication. Her care and love for children was second to none. All who entered Aunt Del’s home as strangers left as family. I thank Gary, Ness and Bob for sharing their mom with me and my family. Rest In Peace and God Bless! With much love from Tim (Michael) Brennan, Kathy and family.

"Mom" as we called her, was like a 2nd mother to many of us. If I liked a funny gag gift she found along her many shopping trips, within a few days I'd find one attached to my front door. That was Mom "one of a kind". We will miss her with love and great memories. Lisa and Gary (Harry) "Wall Gang" alumni

My deepest sympathy to Vanessa, Sam and Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Del was a special lady. I admired the way she took care of and interacted with Gary. When she was still driving I use to see her at the Dollar Store and she was always friendly and had a positive outlook on life. Rest in Peace
