Lucille Tenuto (nee Palladino) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on October 14, 2021, after a battle with dementia. Age 90. She was born on August 18, 1931 in Philadelphia. Lucille was married to the love of her life, the late Emilio "Elmer" Tenuto. Devoted mother of Joanne Tenuto Spector (Alan) and Eugene Tenuto (Jacqueline). Grandmother of David Spector, Bernadette Tenuto and Brett Tenuto (Devan). Lucille was a long-time resident of Bellmawr, where she lived since leaving her childhood home in South Philadelphia with her wonderful parents Anna and Tony Ingelido.
A "Mom-Mom" to all, she lived her life taking care of others. Lucille was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her life was filled with the love and laughter she brought into the world. She was known for greeting you with open arms and a kiss on the cheek. She was always smiling, joking and making you feel like you were one of her own. In celebration of her life, we ask you to wear Lucille's favorite color, purple. There will be a viewing from 8:45am to 10:45am Tuesday, October 19 at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr. Funeral Mass 11am at the Church. Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucille's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 (alz.org).

What a beautiful woman. The amount of love for this beautiful soul is evident by the amount of people who speak so highly for her with such high regard. She will be missed dearly but her memory will live on forever. Gone but never forgotten. God bless all of you in this very difficult time.
Mom Mom you will be sorely missed! You shined brighter than any diamond and you always could put a smile on someone’s face. No truer words can be spoken, Mommom always welcomed me with a hug and a smile! I remember going to the Annunciation carnival with Bern and she was having the best time dancing to Mummer’s music. She was loved fiercely by her family, a testament to the love she gave others. Bernadette, Brett, Mr.& Mrs. Tenuto and family my thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
