Michael J. Whitmire, 54, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2021.
Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and pop pop. He was known to be a diligent worker; he worked hard to provide for his family, could fix virtually anything, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. An avid Eagles fan, he was born in Philadelphia to parents Nancy and Edward Whitmire but spent the majority of his life in Glendora, NJ. He attended Triton Regional High School and last worked as a foreman for Riggs Distler. Michael will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Michael is preceded by his father Edward Whitmire. He is survived by his Loving wife Amy (nee Pilong), Devoted daughter Brook Whitmire (Katie); stepdaughters Stephanie Ledoux and Amber Giffin; grandchildren Savannah, Gaige, and Alex; Loving mother Nancy; siblings Debra (Rob), Edward (Mary Ann), and Susan (James); nephews and nieces Wade (Candice), Lisa (Cory), Samantha (Scott), Michelle, Jimmy, Jared, Hannah, Olivia, Sabatino, Mason, and Liam; and canine companion Loki.
There will be a viewing Thursday morning from 9 to 11 am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Service is at 11 am at the funeral home.
Interment at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
