John J. Jacko, Jr., on March 23, 2021, of Blackwood; formerly of Perth Amboy. Age 79.
Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Rosado) for 55 years. Devoted father of John J. Jacko, III (Christine) and Valerie Hossler (Robert). Loving Pop Pop of Joe, Zach, Tyler, Ryan, Jennifer, Ashley, and Lauren and great grandfather of Greyson. Dear brother of the late William. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was a proud graduate of the Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf. He worked for RMP in Pennsauken for many years. John loved to go on his daily walks, go to restaurants, be with his family and especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday, March 27th at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 11am at the funeral home.
Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Mr. Jacko was a wonderful family man and raised two wonderful children. He was an example of a courageous man who met every challenge and wanted to help everyone. His teachings by example live on through his children who make the world better every day by the big, and little things they do. He loved his family as much as his family loved him. May his memory always be a blessing.
Thank you for sharing your husband, father and grandfather with us at Jefferson Health Care Center. He will be greatly missed. He brought joy to us every day. We loved his love for his wife and good food!
One of my fondest memories of John was dancing the polka with him at his wedding.
