Pat was absolutely one of the nicest guys in the class of "79". My heart goes out to his family.

Karen, Jack, Kathy and Mike (Bunky),

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Pat., as is the entire Coltellaro family. There are so many fond memories that I am sure to miss some. Here are a few that I hope will make you laugh and give you some comfort. Let me start with that when my family moved from Pittsburgh in 1974, Pat was the first person on the school bus to be nice to me, we were friends ever since. (You know how mean 8th graders can be.) Here are a few of the fond memories, starting in 8th grade all the way through high school.

Door knockers and being chased through the neighborhood, Sitting in Jack’s Chevelle car talking about when we get our license, Babysitting the Zurbzurs’ (Blair), We were caddy’s at Flyers for MS, Pat got me in, I had no idea what I was doing, Smashing powered on lightbulbs in my basement, Blowing fused in my parents house using a vacuum hose and the duct work in my basement (it was and electrical experiment), Starting a fire behind the Hartigan's house, when our fort caught on fire (Kathy caughts us), Calling my mom Moozie, Mrs. Hartigan would rent a house in Ocean City, and we would go down for a week, taking our gigantic blow up rafts and having a blast in the ocean, Sneaking out with my Dad’s Plymouth Scamp and driving around the block before we had our license, Cutting a whole in an old basketball, filling it with gasoline, lighting it and when it did not do much we kicked it and we ended up with a streak of fire across my parents front lawn. Pat could not stop laughing. Wrecking my brothers Plymouth Duster while Tim Brinley was driving (My sister Terri lets us drive before we had our license), Wrecked his dad’s Dodge Monarch (Pat was so scared to go home), Sneaking and filling Pat’s Buick up with gas at the Wedgewood Country club, Pat worked there. Being chased in Pat’s Buick, and getting the driver side rear view mirror ripped off by someone we obviously pissed off. Bill getting his hand sliced at a party at the Hartigans. Schmitty getting beat up at the same party for dating Donna, another guy’s girlfriend.

During most of these fun times Pat would always be laughing his ass off. The only time he was not laughing was after wrecking his dad's car, when we were being chased in his Buick or when Bill got his hand sliced. Pat, his laughter and kindness will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, BUDDY

Your pal Jer.

Dear Kathy, We are sorry to know the passing of your beloved brother Patrick. What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness and their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories and they live on forever in our hearts. May memories of Patrick comfort you in the days ahead. We keep you and yours in our prayers at this difficult time. Love, Monica & Brian

I am so sorry, Karin. Pat was such a great guy, one of the funniest and kindest I knew. The two of you were so good to look out for my mom when you lived beside her--she was sad for quite awhile when you moved. I'm thinking she's probably giving him a big hug in heaven right now, so happy to see him again! I'll be praying that you find comfort in wonderful memories of your lifelong sweetheart. Peace and love to you, Encie

Dear Karin & Mary Lou,
I was shocked to see Pat's obit in today's Star Beacon. I remember he was scheduled for surgery later this month, but that was not to be. He was same age as my Larry (60) when he passed, but at any age, it's too soon and never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are with you and all his family. Love & blessings, Noreen & Bob in Ashtabula.

Karin so sorry for your loss. I think about Pat every time the Cowboys play the Eagles. He was such a devoted fan and we loved to tease each other. Prayers to you and his family.

Nobody like Pat. Loved us. He was always with a story that could make you laugh. There are no words that capture how much I will miss him.
