This is so hard. I hate that I now have to refer to you in the past tense.... My Grandmom was the most remarkable resilient caring wonderful woman. She managed to love harder then anyone I’ve ever known. She’d give anyone the shirt off her back and expect nothing in return. One of the best things she did was not only to bless me with the most amazing mother and best friend but she created a family who loves and appreciates life and the world around all of us. My Grandmom was so young at heart and I’d say all the time she’ll out live us all. Childishly, I’d always say that with the hopes that it was true....then the day came where I found out that wasn’t true. Heart broken doesn’t begin to describe the feeliing I miss you terribly Grandmom but I know you’re up there popping M&Ms with Grandpop and polishing the pearly gates. I hope someday I earn the chance to see you again. Your last words to me were “Please be happy. I just want you to be happy.” Right now I feel like I’m letting her down. Skyler and Carter will never forget you. You will always love and live forever in my heart and I will carry you with me always. I love you and miss you more than words could ever say.

I'll never get used to losing people this is my Aunt Chickie she was an amazing women the wife of my mothers brother Jim, my "uncle Jimmy" he was a WW2 vet loved Frank Sinatra and passed way to young. She was a strong matriarch of a pretty big family of her own and I will always carry her in my heart. I have so many fond memories of visiting her home and growing up with my Cousins Sinatra and Chinese food, and man could she keep a house lol white distilled bleach reminds me of her lol it's funny what you remember as a child lol. Later in my life I can remember my wife and I taking her to AC we would always talk about the past and I would always learn more about the family story's I missed out on as a child. My wife and I are so lucky to have had those times with her. It's funny but to this day when I see her given name Julia it's strange to me she will always just be my Aunt Chickie Uncle Jimmy's wife It's funny how some people in your life are trapped in the history of our memory's growing up she will alway be that for me. I will always love you Aunt Chickie.❤️
