I worked with Sonny for a year or two at Antonio’s in Williamstown. I worked deliveries while he was behind the counter. As we sat there on a slower day, we get a call come in from one of our other drivers. Sonny answered the phone and the conversation went as follows:
Sonny: “Antonio’s this is sonny”
Paul (Driver): *in the most concerned voice* “uhh sonny.. I’m surrounded by dogs”

Both of us laughed historically as we could only imagine the situation on the other end of the line. He cooked a great pie and was an even greater friend. These types of memories are what I’ll carry with me the rest of my life whenever I think of him. Rest easy

I worked with Sal for a short time at Gaetanos. He was smart...funny and just a really nice guy. He will be missed. Prayers go out to the family.

Sonny always brought a smile to my face and was just a kind loving person. Even as a child he was the nicest kid. Used to lift with him at World gym and breakdance once in awhile. The world's loss, Heaven's gain. This one hits hard. Love you, brother.

Sorry to hear about Sonny I knew Marge and Jerry Sr through my aunt who lived on Hirsch ave.and all 4 of you kids my prayers are with you Barbara Aupperle
