We were so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. He was such a special and loving man. He was actually my mother's nurse during her hospital stay after her mastectomy and she couldn't say enough wonderful things about his care.
Dianne, please know that we are sending you prayers of peace and comfort. Our world is a better place for having had Harry in it. God bless you all .. xo

Harry (HOK) pronounce Hawk, was one of my best friends and Marine brother during our enlistment in the Corps. We "survived" the trip to the Med & the Cuban Crisis on the flat bottomed LST US1173, I allways wanted to find him, but like most of us, I got caught up in my life and just today something made me Google him and here we are. HOK was our "Joey Bishop", My little brother, I am 78. My sweetheart of 50+ years died of breast cancer in 2017, so I feel the pain the family is having. My e-mail is tsmock42@gmail.com. I would love to hear from someone telling me a little bit of HOK's life.I am in Dunkerton, Iowa. I have an acreage in a log home along a creek, with 2 outdoor dogs and a bunch of cats, constantly being harassed by the dogs when they are out of their pen. My sincere thoughts are with you all. I still think of HOK setting at the bar in St. Thomas with a scotch in hand. What a guy! My thoughts are with you all. Rest well my brother! Tom Smock

Dear Diane and family,
So sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. I can’t tell you enough how he reminded me of my dad and that it was precious to see him. My deepest condolences to you all.

Thought and prayers to Diane and family. Harry was my Rock during Nursing school. I don't think I would have made it without him. There is another awesome Nurse in the Kingdom of Heaven. God Bless.
