I was a music student of Mr. Batdorf's. I didn't do very well in his class, but I did see how talented and brilliant his soul was. He was a brilliant musician, and I enjoyed his personality greatly. After three years, I still think of him. I was saddened a few moments ago when I read of his passing almost a year ago. Although I didn't know him personally, even I could appreciate who he was. Rest in piece, you crazy professor. I hope to meet you again.

I will miss our religious conversations, and playing music with you. I will miss you my brother and think of you often.

Always enjoyed hearing Ron share his talent with us on Sunday mornings. Special place in our memories for us. He will be missed but we are sure he has been blessed.

For many years I've taken a seat in the side sanctuary at church where I could see Ron's fingers dance across organ and piano keys. He made it look so easy and enjoyable that you could tell that his ministry through music was a God-given gift. Sending prayers to Sandy and the family for a peace that passes all understanding at this difficult time.

I am so sad you are gone. My heart is hurting. I will miss you terribly, you have been my brother for 49 years.
