Kathryn "Kay" Swinehart (nee LaBance), on August 29, 2020, of Sewell, formerly of Hazleton, PA. Age 93.
Kay was born in Oneida, PA. Daughter of the late John and Anna Gonda LaBance. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Helen Curtin and Eleanor Cherasaro and brothers John and Robert LaBance. Her devoted husband Earl also preceded her in death on December 26, 2019. Surviving are her beloved sisters Mary Vaughn and Annette DiLeo and a very special step daughter Aleita Salerno along with two beloved granddaughters Ane Salerno Mori (Michael) and Alison Salerno (John) and a much adored great grandson August. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews that survive, a special nephew Zach Vaughn passed away in 2020.

Kay was a former parishioner of the Most Precious Blood Parish in Hazleton.

There will be a viewing from 10:15am to 11:15am Saturday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 12 noon Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede.

Interment will take place Tuesday, September 8, 12:30pm, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kay's name to the American Diabetes Foundation, 1160 US 22, #103, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 or to the American Foundation for the Blind, 2 Penn Plaza, #1102, New York, NY 10121.
