Cathy was my cousin and we belonged to an amazing loving family. I cant begin to say how shocked I was to learn of her passing. I would see her from time to time at family events and most times that she visited the cemetery. She was a wonderful daughter to her parents and made the life long journey taking care of them. Lots of memories growing up with her. I hope you knew that you were loved and how lucky we were to be part of the Tomkinson cousin group. I truly believe in heaven and I have no doubt that you are there reunited with family. I will remember your smile and your laugh. I will miss you my sweet cousin.

G Georgine Tedrow on Aug 9, 2020

We are Gene and Georgine Tedrow. Aaron’s parents. Gramps and Baba to Samantha and Chase.
Cathy was my friend. She made us feel welcome from the first visit when Suzann and Aaron were dating. Her warm smile and contagious laugh I will remember always. She was Mommom to my Baba. That’s how we greeted each other every time we saw each other.
She loved her girls! She was so proud of Linda who recently graduated from Nursing School. She would tell us about each phone call from her and her new career. She missed Linda terribly. Cathy so wanted to visit with Butch to see Linda’s new home in North Carolina. However that never came to furition. Suzann gave Cathy her biggest joy!! The two of them loved to garden and their creativity showed in their flower gardens. Suzann has passed her love of gardening to her Children .
Cathy loved her grandchildren and was totally devoted to them . She drove them to and from school, dance classes, sport practice and watched Samantha and Chase during their individual games.
She was so excited when Suzann was pregnant with Chase Jacob. She asked me countless questions about how it was to have a baby boy in the house. She said I’ve only had girls so I don’t know what to expect! Oh did she love that baby boy. She was radiant around Chase and cared for him like he was her own. Her life revolved around Samantha and Chase. She loved them
fiercely. They loved her back with the same devotion.
Cathy loved life and enjoyed the Shore. She and I would sit around my son’s pool and have a few gin and tonics and giggle like two teenage girls.
She was my friend and we often spoke of our love for our Lord Jesus. There is a song that Gene and I sing during our Worship service at Bethany Church in Macungie,Pennsylvania. It is our favorite. Cathy is a child of God. In my Father’s House there is a place for me. I’m a child of God yes I am. Cathy was chosen not forsaken. She lives with God in his house now!! She is free! Until we meet again dear friend. Love you to the moon and back❤️

Cathy’s wonderful giving spirit… Her laugh… Her caring concern for All she knew ...and Cathy’s incredible ability to make a person smile and feel happy inside... Will be sadly missed by all. She sent me a book from Amazo: ‘ Connect with your inner spirit; Rise to the life of your dreams‘ by Maria Sibilla. Cathy thought it too important of a book, to refer to, to just lend me her copy… Cathy was still intent on rising to the level of her dreams… My thoughts and prayers go to the family of this incredibly warm and loving person… and to Her companion, Butch, who shared Cathy’s dreams.

My Niece Cathy was my childhood buddy. I was 7 years old when Cathy was born to my Sister Ethel (Eppie) and Andrew Hansen. Andy and Eppie took me along all the time with them as a companion for Cathy. I did not get to see her much later in life. Only at Funeral's, Weddings, etc. But, I did get to talk with her in July right as she was getting out of the hospital after a week of being there. I again called her on Messenger a week later to see how she was. She told me she was having a hard time with her breathing and had to be on the Oxygen Machine, which she did not like too much. That was my last conversation with my Niece. I feel so sad that she is no longer with us. I will miss being able to see her once in a while and talking with her. She was so beautiful of a personality. She lit up the room with her smile and warmness. May God take you under his wings my Niece Cathy. God Bless you and keep you. Aunt Joan
