Salvatore Lizzio, on June 21, 2011, of Voorhees, formerly of Clementon. Age 92.


Beloved husband of the late Elda Costa-Lizzio. Devoted father of TJ Escott (Paula), Cathey Lizzio and the late Phyllis Pizzani. Father-in-law of Ralph Pizzani. Loving grandpop of Jennifer Pizzani, Melissa Pizzani-Messimer, Jason Arturo and the late Christopher Lizzio. Great grandfather of Christina, Zoe, Christopher, Owen and Alyssa. Dear brother of Phyllis Sabatini (Joseph).


Mr. Lizzio proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion.


There will be a viewing from 5:30 to 7:30pm Friday eve at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 7:30pm at the funeral home. Interment Forrest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, CA at a later date.


Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Lizzio's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
