Simon "Sam" Flood , on September 21, 2011, of Runnemede, formerly of Audubon. Age 91.


Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (nee Reed). Devoted father of the late Marjorie Szabo and her late husband Michael Szabo, Sr. Loving grandfather of Barbara Stocklos (Buddy), Dawn Markiewicz (Bo) and Michael Szabo (Audrey). Great grandfather of Melissa, Rebecca, Joey, Angelina, Ulrich and Samantha. Great great grandfather of Jake and Gianna.


Mr. Flood was an Army vet of World War II. He was an avid raceway fan of Bridgeport.


He worked as a pile driver for Local Union 454, Philadelphia, retiring in 1986, the day his first great grandchild was born.


There will be a viewing from 9 to 11am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home.


Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
