Samuel P. Bennett, suddenly, on June 23, 2011, of Erial, formerly of Bellmawr. Age 54.


Beloved husband of Roberta (nee Gayeski). Devoted son of Mary (nee Martin) and the late Charles Bennett. Loving brother of Rose Kidd (Ted), Charles Bennett (Shirley) and twin sister Sandy Bennett. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Sam grew up in Bellmawr where he was a sports legacy. He was a tri-varsity athlete at Triton High School, Class of 1975. He attended Gloucester County College and graduated from Colorado Technical College with a degree in Solar Technology. Sam was a longtime employee of Yackle Concrete where he was an asset to the company as well as his fellow employees. Sam enjoyed skiing, rafting, softball, basketball and darts. He always made time to be a fourth for a good round of golf. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.


Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Sam's life on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 7:00pm at 100 Lakeview Avenue, Blackwood, NJ.
