Francis W. Brown, Sr., on January 28, 2020, of Magnolia; born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Age 93.

Beloved husband of Julia R. Brown (nee Arroyo) for 61 years. Devoted father of Francis W. Brown, Jr. (Karen), Gerardette Doukali (Mohammed), and Michelle M. Brown (dear companion Carey). Loving grandpa of Katrina (Manny), Kerstin (Jorge), Ali, Omar, and Khadija and step-grandson Michael. Dear Pop-Pop of Kyla, Eliana, Julian, Xavier, Jaxson, and Greyson. Preceded in death by Henrietta Johnstonbaugh, Charles F. Brown, and Gloria Rutter. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Frank proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a coach of the Magnolia Rams football team in the 1960s. Frank retired from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office in 1990. He was a member of the F.O.P., a Notary Public, and a longtime member and usher at St. Gregory RC Church in Magnolia. He was an avid coin and stamp collector as well as an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

There will be a viewing from 9:15am to 10:45am Thursday, February 6^th at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Jude RC Church, 402 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Funeral Mass 11am at the Church. Interment in private at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
