Ira John "Jack" Shampine on March 31, 2011, of Milford, DE, formerly of Haddon Heights. Age 87.


Beloved husband of Madeline Shampine and the late Helen Marie (nee Anthony). Devoted father of J. Michael Shampine and his wife Christine and P. Jeffrey Shampine. Loving "Poppy" of Jennifer, Michelle, Adam, Matthew, Nicholas, and Kelsey. Great-grandfather of Brian, Jr., Jake, and Drew. Dear brother of the late Olive White.


Jack proudly served in the US Army during WWII and was a special agent for Prudential Insurance Company.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 10am Friday morning at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, 601 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's memory to the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Boulevard, Milford, DE 19963.
