Louis John Davis, June 29, 2010, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, age 86.


Loving husband of the late Thelma Gladys Davis and Kathryn Moseley-Davis. Devoted father of Stephen (Ramona), Carolyn (John), Louis (Bernadette), Donna (Joseph) and Kimberly (Joseph) and stepchildren James (Lynn), Michael, John (Coryn), Patricia (Lew), Mary Kathryn (David), Elizabeth, Ralph (Alice), Richard (Sue), Peter (Shelby) and the late Bill. Dear brother of Helen Barnshaw and the late Pauline Shields and Isabel White. Beloved grandfather of Stephen, Liza, Lea, Salvatore, Andreas, Vincent, David, Caitlin, Louis, Lauren, Lesley, Ben, Bryn, Robert, Matt, Erin, Ian, Jim, Jessica, Megan, Jamie, Kyle, Scott, Katie, Kevin, Brian, Jessie, Jillian, Sean and Joseph and 12 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.


Louis served in WW II as a radioman and the tail gunner in a B-24 Liberator for the Naval Air, Fleet Air Wing - 7 in both the European and North African Theaters. He retired as the rare-earth welder for Honeywell Corporation's Fort Washington, PA facility where he had worked for 38 years.


Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing from 7pm to 9pm Monday evening at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc RC Church, 100 Willow Bend Road, Marlton, NJ. Interment Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
