Doris Mae Antrim (nee Milnor), age 87, of Woodbury, formerly of Somerdale, died peacefully on July 7, 2010, after a brief illness.
Born in Essington, PA. and raised in Collingdale, PA., she was the beloved wife of the late Richard S. Antrim, her high school sweetheart, for 62 years.
Doris was a homemaker most of her life, and was known for her cooking and baking. She was also an avid Phillies fan.
Doris will be greatly missed by her children Doreen Venables and her husband Thomas, Diane Carriero and Richard L. Antrim. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Lara Ross, Christine Nero, Sandy DiRosa, Rebecca Van Horn, Richard Antrim, Michael Moore and Christopher Antrim and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by six sisters, Virginia, Sylvia, Betty, Gloria, all of PA., Florence and Mary, both of FL. and brother-in-law Thomas Antrim of IN., as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday morning at 11am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, with visitation from 10:30 to11am. Interment private.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Doris' memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
