Joseph J. Berretta, on September 5, 2011, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Long Island, NY. Age 80.


Beloved husband of 58 years of Lena (nee Aprivelo). Devoted father of Joseph J., Jr., Larry and his wife Karen, Linda A. Berretta and Carol Berretta. Loving grandfather of Gianna Berretta and Jordan and Ashley Tigershtrom. Dear brother to 12 brothers and sisters and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many in-laws and friends.


Mr. Berretta was the assistant property manager at Hampshire House Apts. in Cherry Hill for the past 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and bowling and he especially enjoyed making puzzles and performing card tricks for his grandchildren.


There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and 8:15 to 9:15am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR.


Funeral Mass 10am Saturday at St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr.


Interment private.


Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Berretta's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
