Richard A. Rabeau, Sr. "Dick", died peacefully at home on September 29, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Age 83.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Rambo). Devoted father of Karen (Newt Cropper), Richard "Drew" (Christine), Donna (Ken Stubbs), Susan (Wayne Krebl) and Timothy (Mary). Loving grandfather of Michael Gehron (Elizabeth), Sarah and Richard Rabeau, Julie, Rachel and Lisa Stubbs, Jessica Campagna, Katie Wheeler, Erik Krebl, Nicholas (Alexis), Tim, Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Rabeau. Cherished great-grandfather of Jacob Gehron, Cassidy Carroll, Christian and Emily Campagna, Mayah Khan and Phaedra and Jeanne Rabeau.

Dick's first great love was his family and his second love was his church, where he was a former warden. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Dick graduated from Drexel University. He was a Civil Engineer with Raytheon in Philadelphia. He was a former Boy Scout leader and a member of Bellmawr VFW Post #7410. Dick was also a board member of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District and the Bellmawr School District.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Monday evening from 7 to 9pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 20 E. Browning Rd., Bellmawr. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30am in the church. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery on Rt. 130 in Burlington.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of the Holy Spirit, 20 E. Browning Rd., Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
