Richard E. Ford, Jr., age 80, of Beesley's Point, NJ, formerly of Phila., PA. He was a textile artisan and co-founder of Stone Mill Rug Co. in Phila., died Friday, April 6, 2012 in Stratford, NJ.


Mr. Ford was an Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.


He is survived by his wife June (nee Candy), two daughters, Cynthia Krisch (Stephen M.) and Deborah Johnson, son Richard E. Ford, III (Victoria) and the late Barry Ford. Also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


A Memorial Service will take place at 11:30am Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Memorial Church of St. Luke, 1946 Welsh Rd., Phila., PA 19115.


Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Ford's memory to the Memorial Church of St. Luke at the above address.
