John F. Manders, on December 11, 2011, of Gloucester Twp. Age 82.


Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Killmeyer). Devoted father of Valerie Sayre (Bruce), Mark Manders, Kimberly Birk (Scott), and Matthew Manders (Amy). Loving grandfather of David and Michael Sayre, Kenneth and John Birk, Matthew Joseph, Allie and Daniel Manders. Dear brother of Frank, Helen, Verna, Dottie, Angie, and the late Theresa and Mary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.


John proudly served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of American Legion Post 281. He was a former employee with RCA. Mr. Manders was a member of the Wedgewood Country Club and had a life long passion for baseball .


There will be a visitation from 10 to 11am Thursday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Memorial Service 11am at the funeral home. Inurnment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
