Marie Persichetti (nee DiFalco), on September 25, 2010, born in Brooklyn, raised in South Philadelphia, resided in Glendora for the past 60 years, age 88.


Beloved wife of Hector for 68 years. Loving mother of Edward (Anne), Thomas, John (Karen) and Maria Giordano (Guy). Devoted grandmother of Matthew (Denise), Renee (Robert), Thomas (Larissa), Eric, Edward, Bryan, Julia, Mary, Sarah, Andrew, Rebecca and Paul and great grandmother of Vincent, Robert, Madalyn and Rylee. Dear sister of Lillian Sgro, Lucy Monte and the late Frank DiFalco, Joe DiFalco and Concetta Lopresti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Marie was an active member of St. Teresa RC Church where she sang in the choir for over 20years, ran the prayer line for the past 10 years and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. In her free time she enjoyed crafting, especially needlepoint and crocheting, traveling and tending to her garden.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday morning from 8:15am to 10:15am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 11am Thursday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, 13 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede, NJ 08078. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
